About Us
Founded with the belief that every person deserves dignity, care, and human connection, I Am You Foundation was created to support underserved communities and individuals experiencing homelessness by bringing essential hygiene services and compassionate outreach directly to those in need. We exist to remove barriers to basic care and ensure that individuals facing difficult circumstances are treated with respect, kindness, and understanding.

Rooted in dignity, compassion, and community, I Am You Foundation provides mobile hygiene services, personal care supplies, clean clothing, and supportive resources designed to meet immediate needs and improve overall well being. Through direct outreach and community partnerships, we also connect individuals with mental health support, healthcare resources, housing assistance, employment services, and other programs that can encourage stability and long term progress.

Our work goes beyond providing hygiene products and temporary assistance. We help restore confidence, rebuild hope, and create meaningful connections that remind individuals they are seen, valued, and supported. By addressing immediate needs while creating pathways to continued care and essential resources, I Am You Foundation helps individuals move toward healing, stability, and a better quality of life. We are not simply providing services. We are restoring dignity and strengthening the human connection that unites us all.

Meet the Founder
Executive Director - Sharel Hatcher
I Am You Foundation was founded by Sharel Hatcher, a compassionate advocate committed to restoring dignity, hope, and human connection for underserved communities and individuals experiencing homelessness. Through her awareness of the daily challenges faced by people without reliable access to showers, hygiene products, clean clothing, healthcare, and supportive resources, Sharel recognized how the absence of basic care can affect a person’s confidence, health, and overall well being.

She understood that individuals facing homelessness and hardship need more than temporary assistance. Sharel envisioned an organization that would bring essential hygiene and dignity support directly to those in need while also connecting them with resources that encourage healing, stability, and long term progress. She believes every person deserves to be treated with compassion, respect, and the reassurance that they are seen, valued, and not forgotten.
From this vision, I Am You Foundation was created to provide mobile hygiene services, personal care supplies, clean clothing, compassionate outreach, and connections to mental health, healthcare, housing, employment, and other essential support. Sharel remains committed to meeting immediate needs while creating meaningful pathways toward restored confidence, improved well being, and a more stable future for every individual served.
